The overall core mission of the Leader in Me program by Franklin Covey, is to teach leadership and life skills to students, create a high-trust school culture, and accelerate academic achievement by empowering every child to be a leader. Instead of using a single universal mission statement for every school, the Leader in Me framework teaches students, classrooms, and families to write their own custom mission statements.
