Fourth Quarter Focus

We are back and ready to dig into these last 14 instructional days before the PM3 FAST assessment. Our students are engaging in focused lessons and tasks that will prepare them for the PM3 FAST assessment. We have only three weeks in April to accomplish our goals. This is a powerful stretch of time—one that requires clarity, focus, and intentional action. You may hear your children talk about academic "countdown" activities as they move through these weeks. We are so excited about the focused instructional work taking place at NCES. We know this work is setting students up for success!

Positive Referrals

We are recognizing our students for positive behavior and representing the 7 Habits. These wonderful Bear Cubs are called to the office for a prize and to get their picture taken to be placed on our Positive Referral Hall of Fame! We will also be sure to call their parent/guardians to tell them the great news. See some of our first positive referral recipients below.

Keeping the Motivation Going!

These final weeks will be full of motivational activities for our students. They are working hard to meet their goals and we want to reward them for this work. Last week we rewarded students for their attendance and good behavior during our "BINGO" games. Students enjoyed rounds of BINGO games and snacks for their efforts. We will continue to advertise the many activities and prizes we have for students who show growth and high achievement on their final assessments. Please see our motivational flyer below.

NCES Paw Print Fundraiser!

We will be painting paw prints in the walking pathways this summer as a reminder to our students to continue on this pathway to success. Purchase a paw print for the 26-27 school year and we will personalize it with your student's name! This will be used as a fundraiser for the school to assist with school wide student activities.

In our first few days of the fundraiser, we had 4 families purchase their paw print. Thank you to these families that have already purchased their prints!!!

Ms. Rocha
Ms. Nguyen
Ms. Torrense
Ms. Frisch-Daiello (purchased for both of her children)

Paw prints can be purchased through MySchoolBucks or using the QR code on the flyer below.
