One Week Until Spring Break

We’ve arrived at the end of the third quarter—just one week before Spring Break! We continue to maintain our focus and push towards growth and success in attaining grade level benchmarks. We want our Bear Cubs to use this coming Spring Break as a time for rest and renewal- to prepare to come back with momentum and the push for accelerated growth.
As of today, we have:
·       33 instructional days remaining until PM3 window opens
·       2.5 weeks in March & 5 full weeks in April
These days will move quickly, and every single day matters. Please help us and be sure to have students in school and on time daily so we may keep building systems that move students forward.

Attendance Now and After Spring Break

It is our goal to keep our momentum going to continue to show growth in all students until the last day of school. To do this, we must have students in school and on time for instruction.

In the face of challenging weather and illness, our teachers, families and students have persisted to keep learning and maintain engagement! We appreciate everyone’s hard work and commitment to our school community. Thank you, thank you! We wish you a restful and refreshing spring break beginning March 16th through March 20th, 2026.

When school resumes on March 23rd, 2026, we will be continuing our push to prepare all students to show their attainment of grade level benchmarks as assessed by our third and last state FAST Progress Monitoring (PM) assessment. As long as your student is healthy, please encourage showing up to class when school is in session. If you have questions about your student coming to school due to a health or mental health concern, please contact us at (407) 892-6858.

Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to learn and connect to peers and their teachers. Until then, have a wonderful spring break!

Junior Achievement's Biztown

Junior Achievement's (JA) Biztown is an interactive, simulation-based program for 4th–6th grade students, created by Junior Achievement USA to teach financial literacy, work readiness, and civic responsibility. It combines 12+ classroom lessons with a 4–5 hour, hands-on visit where students operate banks, run businesses, and vote for a mayor in a simulated town. Our 4th graders enjoyed their time in these simulated tasks!
