The Countdown Continues

Our countdown to the state standardized testing continues! We have 38 Instructional Days Remaining –
  • 38 instructional days
  • 3.5 weeks in March
  • 5 weeks in April

The FAST PM3 testing window opens on May 1st. Our teachers and teams continue our intentional responses to student needs and working toward closing the gaps in student learning. We are committed to the success of our Bear Cubs. Please continue to support these efforts by having students practice needed benchmark at home on Progress Learning. Also, please enforce your child's daily attendance. With your help, we will meet our goals!

Celebrate National School Social Workers Week!

The FDOE recognizes National School Social Work Week, March 1–7, 2026, honoring the essential role School Social Workers (SSWs) play in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional well‑being. SSWs demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and a student‑centered approach while collaborating with families, staff, and community partners to improve access to services and student outcomes. Highly trained and certified, SSWs address mental health needs, attendance issues, academic barriers, behavioral supports, and provide direct student services while strengthening connections between home, school, and community. Their role is increasingly vital, as nearly 1 in 5 children has a diagnosed mental, emotional, or behavioral condition.

SSWs’ expertise and dedication significantly impact students, families, and statewide educational priorities. This week offers an opportunity to acknowledge their contributions and express appreciation for their commitment to student well‑being. Please take a moment to thank a School Social Worker for their role in ensuring our students receive the support they need to be successful.
