Car Rider: Arrival and Pick-up Procedures

Car Riders at NCES

Car Rider Rules and Procedures:

Student safety is our #1 priority- No cell phone use by drivers while in the car rider line!
Cars MUST have a school issued pick-up tag for afternoon pick-up (If you did not get one at Meet the Teacher, you will need to come to the front office before 1:30 on 8/11 to get one)
All students MUST be dropped off in the corresponding line (Pre-K/ESE/K/1 and 2-5)
Parents should remain in cars AT ALL times. Parents will not be allowed to walk students into the building.
Students should only unload in the unloading zones
Staff will be available to assist students getting out of vehicles in the Pre-K/ESE/K/1 line
Students in the 2-5 line can get out of the vehicle when safely in the unloading zone

If you need to go to the front office, you will park and use the crosswalk. Please do not cross at any other point in the line.
